If you opened your own business, what would it be?  I have new ideas every few months/years…I have dreamed of starting a world cuisine community café/community library, an indoor/outdoor play ground safe for all ages with games from around the world, an afterschool music/arts/dance/theatre company, Ice cream truck/bicycle stand, bed and breakfast and so on…. someday, I keep telling myself I will start something on my own

What advice would you give your younger self? It’s OK to say NO and pursue your passions with all your heart and energy.

Exceptional Skills – Positivity always looks for good in everything….situations, people and try to leave the place better than how I found it!

What makes you feel fulfilled? When I hear my son say, “you are the best Mom I could ever have” and my when my husband gives me tight hug and says you did great or when I see the happiness in my parent’s eyes, it makes me immensely satisfied.

When asked to describe yourself, what’s the first word that pops into your mind?  Arranger. I enjoy managing multiple situations and tasks and then love to find the “best way” to accomplish the task. I love to try new things. I am very flexible and can easily accommodate to any situation or circumstance.

Favorite Book- There have been several over the years…I mostly like reading non-fiction. If I do pick a fiction book it would have to be suspense/thriller.

What makes your heart race? Every time before any of my performances….

Organization or cause near to your heart- Any organization that supports the cause to help kids and women to lead a better life. Be it to fight any disease, keep them safe and provide safe living conditions, promote education or anything to help improve their lives for a better future.

What keeps you up at night? – my son’s kicking…he usually jumps into our bed in the middle of the night…however since I know it is not going to last long I am ok with it.

On a more serious note though I am saddened by all the conflicts that surround us today and worry about how should I teach my son to maintain harmony as he grows up and continue to spread the message of love and peace.

What is a belief you once held but no longer do?  When I was in India I always looked up to the women in America and thought they were more empowered than the women in India. Certain situations and circumstances were different but the struggles were the same….

What are you interested in connecting with other women about? To feel inspired, connect and learn from other women. I love hearing a variety of thoughts and experiences. Feed my mind, heart and soul!
