If you opened your own business, what would it be?  So many ideas.  I'd love to start a tech company and am looking for the right problem to solve.  I'd also love to own my own taekwondo school, and finally, would love to help women starting their own businesses set everything up and get started.

What advice would you give your younger self?  Chill out and have faith that it will all be OK.  Travel more and see the world while you can still enjoy it.  Spend more time with your mama before she is gone.

Exceptional Skills- Is empathy a skill?  As I've aged, I find myself really considering how others will feel, and trying to help them be their best selves.

What makes you feel fulfilled?  Serving, whether it's my family, my community, my clients, or students in my taekwondo classes.

When asked to describe yourself, what’s the first word that pops into your mind?  Today... that word is thoughtful.  Since it varies, however, some other words that leap to mind: curious.  Caffeinated.  Un-caffeinated.  Ubiquitous.  Optimistic.

Favorite Book-  Just one?  The Lord of the Rings trilogy.  But, I am on an autobiographical, biographical, and historical fiction kick, and just finished a few old favorites: Autobiography of Malcolm X, Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, and Across Five Aprils.

What makes your heart race?  Exercise!

Organization or cause near to your heart-  Habitat for Humanity.  It helps those who help themselves.

What keeps you up at night?  My to do list.

What is a belief you once held but no longer do?  I used to believe I could do it all on my own.  I now know that not only can I NOT do it all on my own, but I shouldn't even try; I should bring my tribe along with me on the journey.

What are you interested in connecting with other women about?  I love to hear about women who dream of doing great things (or are already doing them), and figuring out if I can help in any way.
