If you opened your own business, what would it be? No way!  Too much stress!  I would rather

put my time into helping out an established non-profit or church missions.

What advice would you give your younger self? Take risks and don’t be so afraid of disappointing

people.  Be happy!

What makes your heart race? Public speaking; witnessing wrongdoing or ill will displayed

Organization or cause near to your heart- Cystic Fibrosis Foundation- 2 little boys near and dear to my heart fight this disease everyday so I try to do what I can to raise money for awareness and research

What keeps you up at night? The lack of empathy in our culture and the inability for people to dialogue and compromise for the greater good; Fear of failure; thought of my children dying young from CF complications

What is a belief you once held but no longer do? That I can “fix” everything. Some things and some people are broken, and they have to admit there is an issue and desire to make a change before the helping efforts of myself and others will have an impact.

What are you interested in connecting with other women about? Giving back to the community, promoting social change and acceptance, and collaborating on solutions (less bickering and complaining and more meaningful dialogue and action).
