If you opened your own business, what would it be?

A peaceful, calm, and uplifting meditation studio.  It would have some stained glass, fountains, green plants, wall hangings with quotes, art work, crafts, books, journals, Christian fashion jewelry, shirts, crosses, small inspirational gifts.  I would be on standby to play guitar and sing at random times during the day.  If there was room for green juice, protein shakes, hot tea and a small bakery section, I’d squeeze that in as well.  I would have hammocks, large bean bag chairs, cozy couches, and essential oils going.  It would be a comfortable, and safe space.  Some natural lighting, but also some quiet, dark rooms, with head phones, just to have that meditation break for yourself that we all need.  You could purchase gifts, books, drinks, sweets, and meditation space for 10, 30, or 60 minutes.

What advice would you give your younger self?  Start daily affirmations as soon as possible!  You are smart!  You are enough! Follow your passion.  Make as many friends as possible.  Don’t worry about what others say, think, or do.  Be true and good to yourself!  Be confident!  Your voice is important!  Read, try, and Never Quit!

Exceptional Skills- Writing, singing, baking, smiling.

What makes you feel fulfilled? God.  Love.  Family.  Music.  Kisses from my kids.  Acts of kindness.  A clean house, a home cooked meal.  Looking back at where I’ve come from, gone through, and where I’m currently at.

When asked to describe yourself, what’s the first word that pops into your mind? Kind.

Favorite Book- The Four Agreements

What makes your heart race? Being vulnerable, speaking, and singing in front of large groups.

Violence, bullying, cruelty, hate, abuse, harassment.

Organization or cause near to your heart- Anything to help individuals and  their families that have suffered from abuse (physical, mental/emotional, substance).  Also those hungry or in poverty.

What keeps you up at night? Lots on my mind.  To do lists that are never complete.  Prayers, thoughts of improvements in different areas of my life.

What is a belief you once held but no longer do? That I wouldn’t be able to live without my mom.

What are you interested in connecting with other women about? I’m most interested in connecting with real women, accepting real life journeys, learning and growing together as friends and support groups to make a positive impact in our own lives and community.
